methodology) at PICES III in 1994
Identify the information which exists in
the PICES participating countries, and determine the mechanisms
of data and information;
Identify the most important problems, scientific
question knowledge gaps and assessment methodology to determine
marine environmental quality;
Develop programs using new techniques and
methodologies to assess the state of marine environmental quality
in the coastal and oceanic regions of the North Pacific.
