MODEL/REX Workshop to Develop a Marine Ecosystem Model of the North Pacific Ocean Including Pelagic Fishes

In 2002, MODEL held their second workshop jointly with REX in Nemuro Japan. The objective was to couple NEMURO, the PICES lower trophic level model of marine ecosystems, to a higher trophic level model of fishes so that effects of climate change on coastal ecosystems could be examined. It was named NEMURO.FISH, the North Pacific Ecosystem Model for Understanding Regional Oceanography. For Including Saury and Herring. and was configured for saury populations off Japan and herring populations off the west coast of North America.

The files presented here are copies of the model code, data files and output that were generated at the meeting. Full details of the workshop and detailed documentation of the model can be found in the workshop report.
