This session provides the opportunity to present
new and exciting results from the IPY field studies conducted during
2007-2008. This includes physical, chemical and biological investigations
in both the north and south polar regions. Contributions are sought
from the ESSAS sponsored IPY consortium, Ecosystem Studies of Subarctic
and Arctic Regions (ESSAR), as well as from other IPY programs.
