Session
In this session we seek papers that document and
investigate the processes that lead to shifts between demersal fish,
especially gadoids such as cod and pollock, and crustaceans, such as
shrimp and crabs. What role does gadoid predation play on the dynamics
of shrimp and crabs? How does this compare to the influence of climate
regimes or the effects of industrialized fishing? How does the spatial
overlap between gadoids and crustaceans change seasonally and annually?
Papers that address these questions either within a single ecosystem
or compare different sub-Arctic regions are sought.
