Scientific Program
 
Opening Ceremony
  The Opening Ceremony will take place in the morning of May 19 (Monday).
   
Plenary Sessions (speakers)
  Each day will include a 1.5-hour Plenary Session in the morning, with two speakers.
   
Theme Sessions (speakers)
 

Each day two parallel Theme Sessions will be convened immediately after the Plenary Session. These Theme Sessions will continue until 18:00 on May 19 (Monday), May 20 (Tuesday) and May 22 (Thursday), and until 13:30 on May 21 (Wednesday) and May 23 (Friday).

Theme Sessions will include invited and contributed papers. Contributed papers will be selected for oral or poster presentation.
   
Workshops
  In addition to the Plenary and Theme Sessions, several workshops will be convened in conjunction with the symposium.
   
Posters
  Posters will be on display during the entire Symposium. All coffee breaks and refreshments will be served in the poster area to maximize opportunities to see these contributions and to interact with the presenters.

Two evening poster sessions/receptions with wine and tapas will be held from 17:00-20:30 on May 20 (Tuesday) and May 22 (Thursday). Poster presenters are expected to be available to answer questions during these sessions.

Maximum poster dimensions are 90 cm WIDE and 180 cm HIGH (your poster should be PORTRAIT- ORIENTED).

   
Closing Ceremony
  The Closing Ceremony will take place in the afternoon of May 23 (Friday) and will include a distinguished panel to provide discussion and conclusions.
