Abstract guidelines:

Abstract that does not conform to the following guidelines will be returned to the author for revision.

Language: English ONLY

Format: Rich Text Format (.rtf) or Word (.doc) file

Max size: 250 words (body)

No pictures, tables, or graphs

Note that Oral Presentations will be 30-minute slots; talks from integrated author teams proposing synthesis or cross-discipline talks will be prioritized.

4.	Confirmation email will be sent to you instantly, after abstract submission

Pre-Registration and Abstract Submission:

Login

Create/Update your "Contact Information" and click "Update" button to open "Meetings" page;

In Section 1 of "Meetings" page tick "Bering Sea Open Science Meeting" box to pre-register for the meeting, then click "Register" button to open Section 2;

In Section 2* click "Submit abstract" link and follow instructions on "Submit abstract" page;

Information about successsful abstract submission should appear on the screen

Abstract Acceptance Notification
By November 29, 2013

Submitters will receive notification emails regarding the acceptance of their abstracts.

Session convenors will do their best to accommodate authors' preferences for oral or poster presentations. However, the number of accepted oral presentations may be limited by the availability of the timeslots.

Session convenors reserve the right to reject submitted abstracts that are poorly written, do not follow the submission guidelines, and/or are completely beyond the scope of the meeting.
